Firecrest

This tiny, restless jewel of a bird vies with the Goldcrest for the title of the UK's smallest bird. It has vibrant green upperparts and whiter underparts. Its name comes from the fiery orange stripe on the top of its head which is bordered by two black stripes. This charming bird is found mainly on the South and East coasts of England
