As our Monarch celebrates 60 years on the throne, Royal Crown Derby are opening a unique exhibition to celebrate the special links which Royal Crown Derby has with the Royal family that stretch all the way back to the eighteenth century.

• The most comprehensive collection of Royal Crown Derby commemoratives ever seen on public display from King George III to present day
• Royal visit memorabilia and photos, including a candlestick signed by Princess Diana
• Examples of china & gifts given to the Royal family
• An exhibition of the Queens visit to the Royal Crown Derby factory in 1949 including exclusive footage and photographs
• Images and commemoratives from the Queens visits to the City of Derby during her reign
• Exclusive view of a short documentary on the Queen & Royal Crown Derby

Centre piece to the exhibition will be a fabulous and opulent dining room set displaying the Queens pattern of Royal Pinxton Rose. To invoke the atmosphere of the Jubilee day itself on display will be a 1950’s living room set, showing a family ready to watch the jubilee on their authentic 1950’s TV set, as well as authentic memorabilia, photos and newspapers from the day.

Also a street scene of a Jubilee street party ready to celebrate the Jubilee event. Throughout will be featured period costumes from Hope House Costume Museum.
