Hardwick Hall in Derbyshire (and other Peak District and Derbyshire attractions) will mark the 400th anniversary of the death of Bess of Hardwick with a season of events and activities in 2008.

Royal Crown Derby have produced The Bess of Hardwick Five Petal Tray which will be available to purchase from January and time limited until the end of 2008. The tray has a traditional half-gadroon edge, gilded by hand with 22 carat gold. This is one of many traditional hand skills kept alive by our factory on Bess of Hardwick's doorstep!
