Derby Legends Evening and Auction
On Thursday October 12th at the Assembly rooms in Derby 4 football legends Roy McFarland, Archie Gemmil, Kevin Hector and John O’ Hare came together for the first time in 35 years for a trip down memory lane, for an event supported by Royal Crown Derby.
Even those with limited interest in the great game found the stories fascinating and gave a real insight into the Clough/Taylor years.
Fans were able to meet the legends and obtain signed autographs from all 4.

During the evening an auction was held in support of Street Kick a childrens charity. No.1 of the Derby City Ram autographed by the 4 legends was the first item up for auction.

Bidding was fierce and gradually rose and rose with the winning bid being for the magnificent sum of £1000.
